I’d started writing my own summary of Grey’s season finalise but words failed me. I’m a mess. I’m lucky enough to say I’ve never felt real pain, real sorrow in my life. Feeling so lost, lonely and see no way out. No terrible deaths or any such tragedy. The closest I’ve come was witnessing my brother get KO’d and go into a seazure and being mistakenly told my mum was a fatality in an car accident. It’s feeling of shock at the core of your very being. I digress….
I guess what I’m trying to say is that the Season 6 finale was one of the finest I’ve seen on any TV show. There was a perfect harmony of plot, acting and incredible maturity in the writing and directing. I expected a typical cliff-hanger, easy for the writer and viewers - who will live? who will he choose? You know the usual sort of thing, irritating and indulgant. No, Shonda Rhimes stepped up to the occassion and delivered a hauting masterpiece. Bravo! I will forever be a fan.
Picking 5 songs is almost impossible. When it comes to music I appreciate variety and I listen to different genres depending on my mood. For this exercise though, I figured I’d need something that always puts a smile on my face…oui? So in no particular order:
